SACRED HEART RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
First Grade Curriculum

The First Grade Curriculum is an essential year long preparation for celebrating the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist which follows in second grade. Initial concepts of baptism, belonging, prayer and Mass are introduced.

Jan. - Unit III - The Story of Jesus; Jesus teaches us how to live, love and pray; The Lord's Prayer

PARENT RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Attend Mass with your child each Sunday.
2. Assist child with required prayers.
3. Communicate with the Catechist regarding the child's progress.
4. Become involved in some aspect of the religious education program.
5. Have your child on time for class.
